The Southern hemisphere’s largest lights display, Christmas Lights Spectacular will be spreading holiday magic to families and friends from 8th November, 2019 until 26^th January, 2020. This year, Hunter Valley Gardens will dazzle guests with stunning lights like never before with a series of newly created immersive displays including White Christmas scene, complete with snow cave and white topped trees. Lover’s Corner, a newly created experience for those who want to celebrate their love this merry season. Guests can take a stroll through a heart tunnel and enjoy a kiss under the mistletoe with their significant other. For an extra magical touch, we suggest walking through the new light tunnels, where you’ll be immersed in hundreds of lights as you wander through.

Also, the Gardens favourite Christmas essentials are back! Families can capture a moment next to the eight metre tall Mega Christmas tree, immerse in the giant Walk-Through Bauble, as well as the all-time favourites Princess Castle, Fairyland and Candyland. Then take the littlies to visit Santa’s enchanting workshop, write a letter to the North Pole and get a photo with Santa Claus himself (until Christmas Eve)*. Popular kids entertainment group Little Scallywagz will be returning this year with their Rock’n Elfy’s show to share the Christmas cheer, alongside the events most loved magicians and entertainers.

For the young and young at heart, we are bringing even more fun with inflatable zones, jumping castles and thrill-seeking rides. Fan favourites include the majestic Venetian Carousel, a Ferris Wheel which gives you a beautiful view of the gardens from above, the classic Swing Chair and a 35 metre Superslide to top off the fun*.

Spectacular staples will of course remain, including delicious food and beverage stalls, roaming entertainment including carollers (until Boxing Day). Be sure not to miss the famous fireworks display to be held on New Year’s Eve.
